Apple had announced just a few days ago that they will have an event near the end of January. This caused many rumors and in fact at first spectators were wondering what new products we might be expecting. But it has been discovered that this event, will mainly focus towards media and not anything hardware related. This could be a bummer for some people, but in fact what Apple might be planning to do is re-invent digital publication and possibly allow more textbook corps. to publish content online onto iTunes. This could be an attempt at Apple possibly moving education more towards iTunes, and making it not only the hub for all your digital entertainment, but also adding in educational needs.
Also this event is said to impact the iBooks store, and possibly announce new content and in order to achieve a greater library of content on the iBooks store, Apple might also think of inputting self- publishing tools, and provide the iBooks store with greater potential.
